2011 IWC Charity Bazaar–A Great Success

IWC Charity Bazaar-Media Report

The 11th Annual Charity Bazaar of the IWC was held successfully on December 4, 2011, generously hosted by the Belgrade Fair. There were 42 booths of all kinds, with 39 embassies and consulates participating, kids’ corner, IWC baking, IWC fleamarket, IWC books, and others. To date, the Bazaar has raised approximately 8.8 million dinars. The final result of funds raised will be announced when all cash donations made in connection with the Bazaar have reached the IWC. The Bazaar attracted over 5,000 visitors who enjoyed tasting various national dishes and drinks, shopping holiday items, etc. Children enjoyed all kinds of activities at the kids’ corner. A range of performances were organized, by among others the folk dance ensemble, TALIJIA and the tenor Goran Dime. Our sincere thanks go to all participants of the Bazaar, including Belgrade Fair, embassies, sponsors, performers, volunteers, media and logistics support people.
